When fighting fire or gas leaks, workers are at risk of exposure to dangerous concentrations of hazardous substances or lack of oxygen. In such cases, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) becomes a necessity. Firefighters put their lives in danger to save our lives, and Centratech takes great pride in supplying the best quality SCBA and SABA apparatus that keep them safe. These products work by supplying the wearer with breathable air from a compressed air vessel or through a pneumatic system connected with hoses. Apart from SCBA and SABA, our technicians can service many makes and models of breathing apparatus and respiration devices in Red Deer, Western Canada and Central Alberta.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Our qualified technicians are trained to do all work, from flow testing and repairs to proper apparatus cleaning. Should a piece of apparatus require a repair beyond our certification, we will contact either the manufacturer or designated repair centre and provide you with a repair estimate.

We carry Scott and MSA brand breathing apparatus.
Centratech currently only offers SCBA and SABA rentals. We can provide air recharging and hydrostatic testing for your apparatus’s cylinders, but all annual certifications would require us to send your apparatus to a third-party service center.
